AURA Esports is a Scottish grassroots entertainment and esports organization founded in May 2019. They believe that everyone has the potential to grow and strive to see people progress and do well in everything they do. The organization is extremely inclusive and wants to be seen as a family where everyone can feel welcome!
The Beginning of AURA Esports
AURA Esports was born out of a spur-of-the-moment decision by its founder, Jordane, after watching a live CSGO game and speaking to the players after. Surprisingly, those players were the first team brought into AURA, and the brand grew from there.
The Current Focus of AURA Esports
Currently, AURA Esports is focusing on its content growth, but they want to be seen competing in CSGO, Rainbow Six: Siege, and League of Legends in the future. The main goals for 2023 are to delve back into the heart of UK esports and grow their content team with dedicated and driven creators. They will be working with new partners to elevate their brand to a new level and get some new titles in esports.

The Staff and Players of AURA Esports
At the time of writing, AURA Esports has a staff team of 13 members and a content team of 22 creators. Their goal for 2023 is to grow the creator roster to 30+ in 2023. As for pro-Esports players, they will be able to answer that in Q2 of 2023.
After the announcement of the Beyond x Aura partnership, we had the opportunity to interview Jordane, the founder of Aura. Here’s what she had to say!
What was the most significant highlight for you in the past couple of years?
Aura winning Dreamhack’s 2V2 Rocket League was a highlight for sure!
Where do you see Esports in 5 years?
Esports has overtaken the music industry, money-wise, so it’s only getting bigger and bigger. It’s already mainstream entertainment, making it into news and live shows, so I can only see it becoming even more popular as it’s accepted as a past-time without the negative connotations currently still around it.
Do you think that Nutrition plays a role in esports, and why?
100% nutrition plays a role in esports. Energy and focus aside, you need to be healthy physically to be healthy mentally. The two go together; if one’s lacking, so is the other.
Why is AURA excited about the Beyond NRG partnership?
Beyond has grown tremendously over the past couple of years, and seeing the growth and progression, such as changing ingredients to be better for the consumer, is refreshing to see.
How do you think Beyond stacks up against other energy drink alternatives, and why?
Beyond is the most progressive and consumer-concerned brand I’ve seen, and it shows in its community engagement. Shipping is fast; products taste good and are not chalky; it’s by far the best, in our opinion!
