Valorant brought me into the world of tactical first person shooters after the dominance of Counter Strike for several years. With the prominence of new multiplayer games that change the dynamic of roles into characters, what mainly appealed to me was the various abilities and skills you could use that really changes the entire style of the game from a serious set of specific rules, to an approach that caters more towards the individual personalities of every single player and their playstyle.
Not only that, the artstyle is something I really appreciate, with characters inspired by comic book and anime aesthetics, with a story not told through long paragraphs and hour long cinematics, but the internal dialogue between characters before rounds. Though, if they made an Arcane esque TV show based on the lore of VALORANT, I’d be watching it right now!
